International Workshops on the Formulation and Start up of Science, Technology, and Innovation (ST&I) Projects in Colombia

BNC, world-leading technology solution providers and strategic consultants working in a range of high-technology sectors, is pleased to announce that it is organising three International Workshops in Science Technology & Innovation (ST&I) in Colombia in November to communicate “best practices” in establishing and managing ST&I projects.  A key objective of the workshops is to work directly with representatives from ST&I centres, academics, local department officials and entrepreneurs working in start-ups and innovation-led companies to develop methods to improve ST&I centre strategy and performance. The workshops will include international experts speaking on planning, establishment and managing of ST&I centres in the following key thematic areas:

• Centres of investigation,
• Centre of Innovation,
• Science centres (including museums),
• Technology transfer units,
• Biological

Some of the questions that will be addressed include:

• How can I design efficient ST&I centres?
• How are international STI centres established and operated most effectively?
• What are considered international “best practices” for the functioning of these centres?

Although this will include a number of international experts, the workshops will specifically target the Colombia context and will address issues of particular interest to Colombia.
